Buyer safety
Your money never touches a stranger's account.
Every buy request goes through the same checks before a single satang moves. Here's exactly how that works.
The four rules that protect you
You pay Letmett, never the seller
The bank details you're given belong to Letmett. A seller who asks for a direct transfer is breaking the rules — tell your agent.
Verified before it's listed
An agent checks a ticket against the promoter's record before it's ever shown to a buyer.
A human checks your slip
Your transfer isn't waved through by an algorithm. An agent confirms it matches the request before the seller is told to hand over the ticket.
Refunded if it falls through
If a seller fails to deliver after you've paid, you're refunded in full, the seller loses their deposit and is frozen from the platform.
Never pay a seller directly
What actually happens
Where your money is at every stage
- 1
You submit a request
No money moves yet. You're setting a ceiling price and letting an agent find a match.
- 2
An agent matches you to a listing
You're shown the agreed price and given Letmett's bank details — never the seller's.
- 3
You transfer, and upload the slip
Your money sits with Letmett. The seller has not been paid yet and cannot see your payment.
- 4
Your agent verifies the slip
Only after this check does the agent release the ticket for handover.
- 5
You confirm you received it
This is the moment the seller gets paid, minus the service charge. Until then, your money is protected.
Common questions
Payment & safety FAQ
Do I pay Letmett?
Yes. You transfer the ask price to Letmett's own bank account — never to a seller. There is no buyer fee; the seller pays our service charge. Letmett holds your money until the ticket is in your hands.
What if the ticket never arrives?
The seller is not paid until your agent has verified your slip and the ticket has been handed over. If a seller fails to deliver, you are refunded in full, the seller loses their deposit and is frozen.
Can I cancel?
Yes — cancelling is free right up until you upload a transfer slip. After that, ask your agent.
Why do you need attendee names and ID numbers?
Most promoters require the ticket holder's name to match their ID at the gate, and the seller cannot start the transfer without them. We never show them to anyone but your agent.
